"From the moment we inquired with Jada on her website, it was very clear that she intended on curating a meaningful experience for my fiancé and I. We knew we had a vision for our engagement photos to be raw, to capture us in a location that meant so so much to us, and we hoped to feel super comfortable and authentic behind the camera.
Of course, as a couple we have taken plenty of photos before, but never were we the subject for an artful eye- and certainly never for hours at a time. Jada sat with us to talk about our vision, our hopes for the session, and our fears for what might be uncomfortable in the moment. "Couple of 4 years here, we’ve never had a photoshoot done so we were very nervous coming in! I booked with Embelle on a whim and I am so so so glad I did! Jada was SO involved and really wanted to get to know us as individuals and as a couple in order to really make the shoot about us! Jada made us feel super comfortable and made the shoot feel so fun! Her energy is so welcoming and she was so communicative throughout the entire process.
The photos made my jaw DROP when I saw them, I couldn’t believe how amazingly Jada captured our love and our story. And we got SO many more photos than I thought as well! "If you have social anxiety or are awkward with taking photos, this is the photographer for you! We traveled from St.Louis to Nashville to shoot with Jada for our engagement shoot. She made us feel like family, had poses in mind and got TONS of “candid” type photos which ended up being my favorite! Our sitter cancelled at the last minute so we ended up bringing our 4 year old daughter.
She was more than understanding, had her fiancé help entertain her & even brought her a cake pop! We got several photos, video clips & even Polaroids to take home that day!
