FAQ's

Clean, soft, ambient, rich, and ethereal. My work is characterized by thoughtful tones that honor the natural beauty of each moment, allowing genuine emotions to shine through without heavy manipulation.

001

how would you describe your editing style?

I work in a documentary style that honors authentic moments as they naturally unfold. My approach is rooted in observation and genuine connection, allowing me to capture those quiet moments of joy between the structured parts of your day. Rather than creating staged scenarios, I focus on documenting real interactions that tell your unique story.

002

How would you describe your approach to shooting?

No - I deliver every image that contributes to telling your complete story. You can typically expect around 50-75 images per hour of coverage, though this varies based on the natural flow of your day. My focus is always on quality and storytelling rather than hitting specific numbers.

003

Do you limit how many images you deliver?

Editorial sessions are delivered within 2-3 weeks, while wedding collections take 8-10 weeks depending on my travel schedule. My editing process is intentionally paced to ensure each image receives the attention it deserves, resulting in a cohesive gallery that truly reflects your day.

004

What is your turnaround time for weddings and editorials?

Yes - I travel for about 85% of my work, which has led to my entire experience being curated for the destination client. I'm no stranger to managing complex travel logistics, coordinating across time zones, and creating stunning imagery in new environments. This constant movement keeps my creativity fresh and allows me to bring a unique perspective to each celebration.

005

Are your services mainly destination-oriented?

While I adapt well to different personalities and welcome collaboration, my heart lies in capturing unscripted moments. I find the most compelling images emerge when you're free to be present with each other, focusing on your connection rather than a shot list. My approach is about documenting authentic moments as they naturally unfold.

Yes - I work with both 35mm and 120mm film photography, as well as Super 8 videography. Each medium brings its own artistic quality to your story, offering different ways to preserve these precious moments. We can discuss which combination best suits your vision during our consultation.

007

Do you shoot film or offer videography services?

Embelle Photo operates from Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, though my work regularly takes me across the country and beyond. My location has proven perfect for reaching destinations both domestic and international.

008

Where are you based?

Yes, I do require my clients to have a wedding planner. Why? Because a planner's expertise in timeline creation and design orchestration allows me to capture your day in an artful, unforced way. Most of my weddings are highly design-oriented, with many moving pieces that need careful coordination to achieve the best possible gallery. A skilled planner ensures every moment has room to breathe and be documented beautifully.

009

Do I need a wedding planner to book wedding photography with you?

Studio fees are thoughtfully incorporated into your final quote, considering everything from studio selection to reservation duration. During our consultation, we'll discuss your vision and select the perfect space, ensuring your quote includes all necessary studio time without any surprise costs later.
