The Experience

Creating art is an intimate exchange, a mutual opening of hearts. When you step in front of my lens, we enter a space where genuine connection flows naturally and quiet moments tell your deepest story. Each phase of our journey together moves with purpose and grace, built on a foundation of understanding that begins long before I lift my camera.

Through multiple conversations, I immerse myself in your world – your design sensibilities, the subtle dynamics of your relationship, the elements that make your story uniquely yours. I spend time researching, creating detailed mood boards, and drawing inspiration from various artistic sources.

The art of creating together is a sacred dance between souls, where trust and vulnerability meet artistry.

Onboarding

Like sharing coffee with a kindred spirit, our initial 30-minute conversation sets the foundation for something beautiful. Here, we explore your dreams for documentation, discussing the moments that matter most to you. Together, we'll discover which style of imagery best tells your story – whether that's editorial portraiture or documentary coverage of your celebration. You'll leave our time together feeling deeply understood, with clarity about our creative direction and confidence in the journey ahead.

Design

As your vision begins taking shape, we'll meet again to weave your ideas into a cohesive story. This collaborative session often becomes clients' favorite part of our journey – where inspiration flows freely and dreams become tangible plans. We'll craft your custom design deck, thoughtfully considering every element from location selection to wardrobe styling, ensuring each detail serves your unique narrative.

Clarity

A gentle pause before your story unfolds. This final conversation aligns all details – from timing to locations, ensuring every aspect of your vision is clear. It's a peaceful moment to breathe, review, and prepare for the beauty that awaits.

Our walk together is thoughtfully comprehensive and flexible. We'll meet for at least three intentional sessions, each designed to deepen our connection and bring clarity to your vision. From your first inquiry to your final gallery, we move with intention, care, and thoughtful attention to every detail. Our consultations create space for authentic connection, ensuring your vision comes to life exactly as you've dreamed.

As a photographer who travels almost weekly to document love stories, I understand the intricacies, planning, and attention it takes to bring a destination celebration to life. Travel is naturally woven into my process, designed for your peace of mind and seamless delivery of your vision. During our inquiry, we'll discuss your destination's specific needs so I can provide a comprehensive quote in your proposal. I am no stranger to multi-day celebrations and full wedding weekends abroad.

a. the experience

I am no stranger to multi-day celebrations and full wedding weekends abroad. I regularly coordinate directly with vendors and planners, making things even easier on you. Throughout your journey, you'll receive real-time updates – from flight confirmations to arrival details – bringing peace of mind as your celebration approaches. This consistent communication is something my traveling clients especially appreciate, knowing their photographer is prepared and present every step of the way.

c. the logistics

After our initial consultation, you'll receive a proposal that includes all travel considerations – from accommodation to transportation. I maintain a two-night minimum stay for each destination, allowing proper preparation and ensuring your story receives my full artistic attention. All travel expenses are calculated upfront and included in your custom quote, eliminating any need for later coordination.

b. the planning

We all have a dream destination bucket list, right? Mine includes Italy, Greece, Australia, Nantucket, Malibu, Upstate New York, 30A, Mallorca, Bentonite Hils Utah, Jackson Hole, Idaho, and the Oregon Coast.

After our time together, my post-production process begins. To start, every photo is first backed up securely to multiple drives, ensuring your memories are safe. Then begins the process of curating – sorting moments by chapter, selecting the frames that best tell your story, and crafting each image through careful editing. Your gallery is carefully curated and edited with intention, ensuring every frame resonates with the emotion of its moment. For editorials, this artful process takes two to three weeks; for weddings, four to five weeks – both depending on travel schedules.

When your collection is ready, you'll receive a carefully crafted email with your private gallery link. Here, you can relive your moments, share them with loved ones, and download your images in their highest quality. Along with your gallery, you'll receive detailed guidance for preserving these memories through heirloom albums and digital archival. For safekeeping, I recommend storing your images in multiple places: cloud storage, external drive, or flash drive.

we find the quietest stories
waiting to be told

in the gentle sweep
of afternoon light
and whispered promises

the art of seeing

               to breathe
